Description
This construction project includes replacing cell doors, hardware, locks, intercoms, and controls at Northern Nevada Correctional Center and Warm Springs Correctional Center, in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements and has a 210-calendar-day contract period. The estimated project value is $7,500,000, with liquidated damages of $2,100 per calendar day. Prime contractors must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting and obtain security clearance to enter prison property; attendees must submit the NDOC Contractor Background Check Application and NDOC Security Regulations Acknowledgment Form at least seven days before the meeting.
