Description
The School Board of Sarasota County seeks a contractor to provide lawn equipment, replacement parts, and as-needed repair services throughout the school district. The solicitation requests firm hourly labor rates for standard and non-standard hours, percentage discounts from manufacturers’ current MSRP for lawn equipment and parts, and manufacturer-specific discounts where applicable. Labor rates must include consumable supplies, supervision, equipment, fuel, travel, and tools. Repairs may be performed at the contractor’s shop or at School Board locations, and the contractor must have an over-the-counter repair location within 35 driving miles of the Facilities Services Department. The contract is for one year beginning upon School Board approval, with two additional one-year renewal periods by mutual consent. There are no guaranteed quantities or dollar value. The contractor must provide three comparable commercial references covering work performed within the most recent 36 months, comply with school-site security and background-screening requirements when applicable, and submit the required certification page, SMBE form, emergency/disaster form, commercial reference form, and completed bid table. The coercion and foreign-country-of-concern affidavits may be submitted with the bid or before award.
