TOWN OF BLOOMFIELD RFP #1174 THREE (3) COMPLETE MOWER UNITS (FAIRWAY MOWERS) Wintonbury Hills Golf Course 206 Terry Plains Road Bloomfield, CT 06002 Due date: September 23, 2026, 1:00 PM All inquiries are to be directed to: Joe Muraca, Purchasing Manager JMuraca@BloomfieldCT.gov The Town of Bloomfield (Town) invites you to submit Proposals based on the requirements within the RFP for three (3) complete mower units (Fairway Mowers) for Wintonbury Hills Golf Course located in Bloomfield, CT. This Request for Proposal and any addenda can be found Town of Bloomfield website, http://www.BloomfieldCT.gov, as well as the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services website, https://portal.CT.gov/DAS/CTSource/ BidBoard, on and after August 27, 2026. The Purchasing Manager will be the sole point of contact for this procurement. Only information communicated by the Purchasing Manager shall be deemed the official position of the Town. Proposals may be submitted at any time prior to this date and time. One Original (clearly identified as such) and two (2) copies of the proposal, plus a read only copy on a thumb drive shall be submitted to the attention of : Purchasing Manager Town of Bloomfield 2nd Floor 800 Bloomfield Avenue Bloomfield CT 06002 Any questions on the Scope, submission and other requirements may be directed to Purchasing Manager via email no later than September 15, 2026 at 4:00 PM eastern, and will be responded to by Addendum to the original RFP on the Town of Bloomfield website and CT State DAS website by September 17, 2026 at 4:00 PM eastern. The Town of Bloomfield will not accept any responses submitted via email or fax transmission. Late Proposals will not be considered for any reason. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope with “RFP 1174 - THREE (3) FAIRWAY MOWERS” written in the lower front left corner. Description
The Town of Bloomfield is soliciting proposals for three new, full-grade commercial fairway mower units for Wintonbury Hills Golf Course. Each unit must meet detailed specifications, including a diesel engine of at least 36.5 horsepower, four-wheel drive with individual wheel motors, five cutting units with radial reels, groomers, roller brushes, ROPS-mounted roof, headlights, and specified turf tires and cutting dimensions. The proposal must include pricing, make and model, manufacture or proposed build date, delivery schedule, available options, warranty information, company qualifications, and three references for similar equipment supplied within the past three years. The selected vendor must deliver the units FOB destination, washed, serviced, equipped with approved options, and compliant with applicable federal, Connecticut, OSHA, and DOT standards. Two printed copies of each applicable operation, parts, and service manual are required with delivery, and the entire unit must carry at least a two-year parts-and-labor manufacturer warranty.
