Description
The City of Monterey is soliciting a licensed Class C36 plumbing contractor for a job order contract providing a readily available workforce for plumbing repairs, replacement of plumbing components and systems, alterations to existing facilities, emergency repairs, new construction, and related work. Work will be issued through project-specific work orders and may include labor, materials, equipment, permits, traffic control, environmental compliance, quality control, and associated construction activities. The initial term is one year, with two optional one-year extensions, and an annual funding limit of up to $1,000,000 for each contract year. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed. Contractors must be able to respond to emergency sites within three hours, pay prevailing wages, maintain required licensing and public-works registration, and provide specified bonds, insurance, security-access documentation, and environmental and construction submittals.
