Description
The City of Morgan Hill is soliciting qualifications from consultants or consultant teams to provide on-call hydrogeological and geotechnical engineering services citywide on an as-needed basis. Anticipated work includes well-field operational support for twelve water production wells; groundwater, water-quality, aquifer, and well-performance analysis; production-well assessment and rehabilitation; new production-well siting, permitting, design, drilling, construction, and testing support; and assistance with selecting and overseeing well contractors. Geotechnical services may include slope stability and seismic hazard analyses, foundation and seepage analyses, earthen dam and levee design, pavement and slope-protection design, geological investigations, subsurface testing and mapping, material testing, and inspection services. The City intends to enter into agreements with two or more consultants. Respondents must submit a qualifications package and a separate billing-rates and fee-schedule PDF; the qualifications package may not exceed 20 pages, must use at least 12-point font, and must include firm qualifications, relevant experience with at least five agencies, a work plan and service approach, and a completed Wage Theft Prevention Bid Certification.
