Description
The San Jose Evergreen Community College District is soliciting bids for the provision and campus-wide installation of electrical smart meters at San Jose City College, Evergreen Valley College, and Milpitas Extension. The meters will monitor electrical loads and integrate with the District's Building Management System, specifically C7 and C10. The contractor must coordinate work with scheduled power shutdowns, if needed, and ongoing operations at active school sites. The project requires prevailing wages and is covered by the District's Construction Careers Agreement with the Santa Clara and San Benito Building & Construction Trades Council. A mandatory job walk is required at both Evergreen Valley College and San Jose City College; late arrivals will not be admitted, and failure to attend renders a bid nonresponsive.
