Description
The City of Saginaw is soliciting sealed bid proposals for the removal and disposal of existing carpet, carpet pad, tack strips, staples, adhesive residue, and related debris, followed by installation of approximately 600 square feet of commercial-grade luxury vinyl plank flooring in two designated office-serving spaces at its wastewater treatment plant. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, furniture moving and protection, substrate preparation, cove base, transition strips, reducers, thresholds, cleanup, disposal, and all incidental work required for a complete installation. The proposed LVP must be suitable for institutional or commercial traffic. Bidders must identify the manufacturer, product or series, product number, color, and applicable warranty. Work must be coordinated with plant operations, comply with applicable safety and manufacturer requirements, protect existing property, and leave the areas clean and ready for use. The bid is all-or-none, and no substitutions are permitted unless identified and accepted as an equivalent by the City.
