Description
Genesee County is soliciting bids for the procurement and delivery of 97 natural landscape boulders to four City of Flint parks: Rollingwood Park, Durant Park, McCallum Park, and Brennan Park. The boulders will restrict unauthorized vehicle access and must generally weigh approximately 0.5 to 1 ton; Addendum 1 confirms that weight is the primary requirement over width. Slabs and pavers are not permitted, and boulders must be durable, structurally sound, and free of significant defects. The vendor must provide all labor, equipment, transportation, permits, and unloading; coordinate deliveries; protect park infrastructure; repair any damage caused by its operations; and remove rejected or nonconforming boulders at no additional cost. Final positioning and installation are excluded and will be performed by others. Bidders must submit pricing, boulder descriptions and photographs, delivery scheduling information, equipment details, references, litigation information, required signed forms, and insurance documentation. The solicitation requires physical delivery of a sealed bid and does not accept email or fax submissions.
