Description
Clayton Charter Township is seeking a contractor to construct a 100-by-100-foot impound storage lot. Work includes relocating the berm north of the site, stripping topsoil and recovering the new berm, placing five inches of oversized crushed concrete aggregate, compacting the aggregate, adding and compacting two inches of 6AA limestone or equivalent, hauling spoils away on a per-cubic-yard basis, finish grading the work area, and seeding the berm with contractor-grade grass seed. Bidders must submit copies of liability insurance, property damage insurance, and workers' compensation insurance with their bids. The work must be approved by the Township Supervisor, and the bidder is responsible for damage caused during performance.
