Description
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is seeking a consulting engineering firm to perform all necessary professional services for the Silver Bay Marina fuel system. The scope includes assessment, engineering design, construction plans and specifications, construction inspection, and contract administration for complete system reconstruction. The existing system includes two 5,000-gallon aboveground gasoline tanks, one 5,000-gallon aboveground diesel tank, approximately 948 feet of underground piping, 988 feet of dock piping, leak-detection equipment, and point-of-sale dispensing equipment. The gasoline system is disabled because of leak-detection failure, while the diesel system remains in service. The project also includes complete decommissioning, abandonment, and disposal of the existing system.
