Description
This project involves significant roadway improvements for the City of Sherwood, Arkansas. The scope includes approximately 4,500 linear feet of road construction, featuring a new roundabout and a five-barrel reinforced concrete box culvert with a pedestrian underpass. The project also requires substantial earthwork (70,000 cubic yards), asphalt paving (9,000 tons), 12,000 tons of Class 7 material, curb and gutter installation, drainage enhancements, and pedestrian improvements. Bids must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office by 10:00 A.M. on June 30, 2026. Digital copies of the bid documents are available for $22 from GarverUSA.com via Quest Project Number 7932847. It is crucial for prime bidders to download documents from the online plan room to be included on the Plan Holders List, which is required for bid submission. Addenda will be issued through this list. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or a bid bond for at least five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bidders must be licensed under Arkansas Code Annotation §17-25-101 et. Seq., with licensure evidence provided prior to contract signing. The City of Sherwood reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids must remain valid for 60 days.
