Description
The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for professional actuarial services to perform valuations of Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) in compliance with GASB Statement No. 75. The scope of work includes data collection and review, actuarial valuation to calculate total OPEB liability and related financial metrics, and reporting and disclosures suitable for the agency's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. The selected actuary will be responsible for preparing an Actuarial Valuation Report, providing sensitivity analyses, recommending contribution levels, and offering ongoing technical support for GASB 75 compliance. Deliverables will include the final report in electronic formats, supporting schedules, and RSI tables. The City will evaluate respondents based on specialized experience, capacity, past performance, and proximity to the area.
