Description
Pulaski County, Arkansas is soliciting bids for the construction of the Southwest Trail project, specifically the segment from Hilaro Springs Road to Baseline Road. This project involves approximately 6,000 feet of 10-foot wide concrete bike trail construction. Key components include a 182-foot prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge, multiple pipe crossings, marked roadway crossings, striping, and safety railing. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Contract documents can be examined at Southern Reprographics, 801 West 7th Street, Little Rock, AR 72207. Copies may be obtained from Southern Reprographics for the cost of printing. Bidders are required to complete Document 00 45 13, Qualification Statement. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price. The successful bidder must furnish a payment and performance bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bids must remain in effect for 60 days after the bid opening date. Build America Buy America (BABA) provisions apply to this contract.
