Description
Orange County, New York is seeking a qualified dental services provider for residents of the Valley View Center for Nursing Care and Rehabilitation, a 360-bed Medicare- and Medicaid-certified skilled nursing facility. Required services include screenings and complete oral examinations, cleanings and scaling, oral hygiene instruction, fillings, fabrication and repair or replacement of dentures, single-unit crowns, and simple tooth, root-tip, and molar extractions that do not require oral surgery. The contractor must provide dentists, dental hygienists, and registered dental assistants; perform services primarily at the facility's on-site dental clinic at least one day per week; furnish all other necessary equipment and supplies; provide emergency coverage, resident treatment and referrals, monthly reporting and invoicing, at least three staff in-services annually, and a dental-services policies and procedures manual. The proposal must include staffing qualifications, a technical approach, pricing, references, required certifications and forms, and applicable supplier and Pay-to-Play documentation. The anticipated initial term is one year beginning on or about April 1, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewal terms.
