Description
The Ohio Department of Health's Dental Access Collaborative seeks a qualified public or nonprofit organization based in Ohio to increase access to dental care for Medicaid-insured residents, particularly in Ohio's 73 Rural Health Transformation counties. The selected vendor must have relationships with dentists and will convene a Medicaid stakeholder workgroup, create a Medicaid credentialing toolkit, conduct a targeted promotional campaign, provide technical assistance through the Medicaid credentialing process, and help providers address barriers to treating Medicaid beneficiaries. The program targets a 3% increase in Medicaid-credentialed dentists and a 3% increase in dental claims provided by Medicaid-credentialed dentists. The contractor must provide monthly check-ins and progress reports, plus a final program report due June 30, 2027. Proposals require a technical proposal addressing company experience, qualifications, staffing, work plan, references, subcontractors, and project deliverables, along with a separately submitted completed Cost Proposal Form. The estimated budget is not to exceed $300,000, and the initial project period is November 2, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with two optional 24-month renewal periods. Ohio-certified MBE participation is encouraged through a sheltered solicitation and scored based on the percentage of work offered to MBE businesses.
