Description
The City of Piqua is soliciting a lump-sum bid from licensed and certified electrical contractors for the expansion and installation of lighting at the Pitsenbarger Park pickleball courts. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, inspections, and incidental items required for a complete, operational installation. The scope includes six 30-foot tapered steel lighting poles, three-horn mounting brackets, eighteen LED light fixtures, one LED backlight fixture, lighting controls, a 200-amp electrical service and load center, control cabinet, underground feeder and conduit, six precast concrete pole bases, ground boxes, wiring, electrical connections, fixture aiming, programming, testing, and coordination with the local utility. Bidders must submit the completed City bid form, descriptive literature and warranty information, and at least three references. The project is non-prevailing-wage, with anticipated completion by November 30, 2026; no performance bond is required.
