Description
The Bureau of Land Management's Billings Field Office is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote for maintenance and restoration of 22.5 miles of designated off-highway vehicle trails. The contractor must provide a skilled operator, trail dozer, equipment, operating supplies, supervision, and support functions. Work includes clearing, grading, blading, removing slough and berms, filling ruts and troughs, reshaping trail tread and backslopes, restoring drainage structures, removing rocks, roots, and stumps, widening pullouts, repairing tread failures, addressing landslides and collapsed backslopes, and final grooming with a rock rake, pasture drag, or similar equipment behind an ATV/UTV. The required primary equipment is a SWECO/Sutter Equipment 450, 480, or 500 trail dozer, or similar equipment, with a six-way dozer blade and three-shank ripper; track width may not exceed 72 inches. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside, and award will be made to one responsible quoter based on price. Quotes must include the completed SF 1449, acknowledgment of amendments, and completed price schedule, submitted as separate electronic volumes for required documentation and pricing. Applicable Service Contract Act wage rates are included.
