Description
The Indian Health Service is seeking quotations for a five-year blanket purchase agreement to provide Lawton Indian Hospital with blood products, blood bank supplies, and professional immunohematology reference laboratory testing. Required products include leukoreduced, irradiated, CMV-negative, antigen-negative, sickle-cell-negative, and modified red blood cells; apheresis platelets; cryoprecipitate; frozen plasma; and related blood component preparation. Testing includes ABO/Rh typing, compatibility and crossmatch testing, antibody screening, identification and titers, direct antiglobulin testing, fetal hemoglobin testing, red-cell antigen typing and phenotyping, molecular typing, and DNA extraction. The contractor must maintain sufficient inventory, provide scheduled routine deliveries and pickups, accept emergency verbal orders, provide special transport containers, offer 24/7 telephone coverage and consultation services, and meet specified turnaround times. STAT pickup and delivery requires a one-hour response plus delivery, while testing and product delivery have additional stated response windows. The resulting BPA will use firm-fixed-price calls, with individual calls limited to $150,000 and an aggregate stipulated amount of $325,000; no purchase volume is guaranteed.
