Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting quotes from verified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses for grounds maintenance at Fort Sill National Cemetery. The work includes operating equipment around monuments, trees, water features, and other cemetery features; mowing, trimming, and edging approximately 120 or more acres of improved and unimproved turf; trash and debris removal; and spot and broadcast pesticide applications. The contractor must provide qualified key personnel, including an onsite supervisor with at least five years of relevant supervisory experience and an Oklahoma-licensed commercial pesticide applicator with an active Qualified Supervisor designation in Category 206: Turf Pest Control and at least three years of commercial herbicide-application experience. The response must include administrative, technical, staffing and equipment, past-performance, and pricing volumes. The government anticipates a single-award IDIQ contract with a base year and four one-year options, evaluated using lowest-priced technically acceptable procedures. Attendance at one of the two scheduled site visits is mandatory for eligibility.
