Description
The Department of the Air Force requires two 250-horsepower rotary screw air compressors, brand name or equal to Ingersoll Rand model SSR-XFE250-2S. Each compressor must provide approximately 1,380 CFM capacity, 100 PSIG rated operating pressure, a 250-horsepower nominal drive motor, 460V three-phase 60 Hz electrical service, and 120V control voltage, while remaining compatible with existing site utilities and requiring no more than minor incidental modifications. The scope includes delivery, removal and disposal of two existing air compressors and associated plumbing and electrical lines, installation and reconnection of the new equipment, startup, testing, commissioning, and manufacturer warranty registration. The acquisition is a 100% small-business set-aside for a single firm-fixed-price contract.
