Description
Comanche Nation Entertainment is accepting applications for a Board of Directors representative responsible for overseeing and controlling the Nation’s gaming and related enterprises. Duties include supervising the chief executive officer or an approved management contractor; establishing policies and procedures; developing and presenting the Board’s annual operating budget; approving contracts and agreements; adopting personnel policies; and monitoring gaming-facility and related-enterprise operations. Applicants must possess at least two of the specified qualifications: a degree in business administration, accounting, marketing, or an equivalent field; at least five years of business-management experience; at least two years of casino-management experience; or demonstrated knowledge of federal Indian law, the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, and related statutes and regulations. Corporate-governance experience, leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills are also required or preferred as described in the position materials.
