Description
The City of New Rochelle is soliciting bids for the design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of two custom exterior illuminated LED light-box signs at the Ruby Dee Park Public Safety Kiosk. Each sign is approximately 15 feet wide by 2.5 feet high, with aluminum cabinet construction, internal LED illumination, weather-resistant finishes, removable access panels, mounting hardware, electrical components, graphics, and municipal and police logos. The signs must include the specified “Ruby Dee Park PUBLIC SAFETY” wording, comply with applicable building and electrical codes, and be engineered for outdoor conditions. The contractor must perform field measurements, prepare shop drawings and renderings for approval before fabrication, coordinate electrical connections and permits, protect surrounding sidewalks and property during installation, remove debris, and provide warranty documentation. The work must be completed within 50 days of contract execution. On-site installation labor is subject to New York prevailing-wage requirements, and bidders must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor Public Work Contractor and Subcontractor Registry. The bid package requires qualification information, at least five similar-project references, and a 5% certified or cashier’s check bid deposit; a bid bond is not accepted.
