Description
Muskegon County Information Technology is requesting proposals to remove and replace a nonfunctioning Samsung LED digital display sign within the existing monument infrastructure. The replacement must fit the existing dimensions and power configuration, be sealed for Michigan weather, and meet or exceed specified performance guidelines, including outdoor environmental protection, brightness, viewing angle, refresh rate, wind resistance, power efficiency, and secure wireless communication. Vendors must address any required monument modifications and provide renderings or diagrams of the proposed solution. The scope includes removal and County custody of the existing panels, controllers, components, and cabinets; installation and setup of the new signage; software for moderating the display; training; warranty and service-plan options; and pricing for optional underground hard-wired communication. Proposals must include technical specifications, installation details, local examples if available, a detailed cost proposal and budget narrative, a project timeline, warranty and support information, and a catalog or pricing structure for additional products and services available through the CoPro+ cooperative purchasing program. The resulting contract is planned for three years with two one-year renewal options.
