Description
Lansing Community College is soliciting proposals for a multi-phase interior wayfinding signage solution, beginning with the Health and Human Services Building and extending to additional buildings as assigned. The selected vendor must fabricate signage in accordance with the provided designs, specifications, materials, colors, finishes, typography, accessibility requirements, and mounting requirements; provide all labor, materials, equipment, hardware, packaging, and delivery; and review existing conditions to recommend sign placement, orientation, visibility, mounting height, and sequencing. Installation is not a bidder requirement, although the vendor may use a subcontractor to inspect areas and provide placement recommendations. The initial package includes building and faculty directories, strip maps, wall guides, room and department identifiers, overhead identifiers, regulatory signs, tactile and Grade 2 Braille elements, and related sign types shown in the project documents. Responsibilities also include shop drawings, material and color samples, proofs, fabrication scheduling, quality control, ADA and code compliance, warranties, and delivery of the completed signs ready for College installation. The proposal must include company qualifications, at least three similar projects completed within the past five years, three recent or current similar-size customer references including at least one college or university, vendor information, a signed Signature Page, and a separately submitted price proposal spreadsheet.
