Description
The City of Lee's Summit is seeking an on-call firm to perform commercial, industrial, residential, and other real estate appraisals in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Services will generally support right-of-way, easement, and fee-simple acquisitions for roadway, aviation, utility, and other publicly funded improvements, and may include review appraisals, right-of-way acquisition and negotiation, and expert testimony in eminent-domain cases. Each assignment will require a Summary Appraisal Report with a summary page identifying right-of-way, permanent easement, and temporary construction easement values, along with adjustment sheets. The response must address key personnel experience and availability, similar projects and clients, project approach and work plan, typical response times, previous work examples, and task/personnel pricing. The solicitation requires a cover letter, a proposal limited to six one-sided pages, an optional appendix of up to four additional pages, a pricing form, a signed Work Authorization Affidavit, and E-Verify documentation. The resulting agreement is an indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery arrangement with a one-year initial term and up to four one-year renewal terms.
