Description
U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Laboratories and Scientific Services, intends to purchase two LightLab 3 LE High Sensitivity Cannabis Analyzers from Orange Photonics on a sole-source basis. The portable, self-contained analyzers must support rapid detection and identification of cannabinoids, relative dry-weight determination, onboard data storage, USB data transfer, battery-powered operation, touchscreen operation, quality-control verification, and field-deployable use, with analysis completed in under 20 minutes. The requirement includes inside delivery, setup, initial software configuration, in-person training, hard-sided carrying cases, required accessories, consumables for 200 scans or analyses total, and an extended warranty for each analyzer. All deliverables, including setup and training, must be completed within 30–60 calendar days after contract award. The notice is a sole-source capability notice rather than a request for proposals or invitation for bids; interested parties must submit written capability information by email before the stated response deadline.
