Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is conducting market research for a future recompete supporting the Office of Water and Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water. The anticipated requirement covers technical, engineering, analytical, and administrative support for implementing the Safe Drinking Water Act and related national drinking water programs. The future procurement is anticipated to establish a multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreement for up to three vendors, with call orders issued on a time-and-materials and/or fixed-price basis. The anticipated ordering period is up to five years, with a maximum ordering value of $115 million. The work is expected to address engineering analysis; drinking-water rulemaking support; support for states, tribes, regions, and water systems; data management and statistical analysis; risk assessment; health-risk-reduction benefits and cost assessment; policy and program implementation; technical analyses; information management; technology tools; outreach and communications; and event planning and logistics coordination. The notice states that the requirement is expected to be competed on a full-and-open basis, while market research will determine whether a small-business set-aside is appropriate.
