The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is soliciting bids for anIndefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for pump repair and replacement services across the city, with a specific focus on Manhattan. The contract term is three years, with the possibility of two one-year renewal periods at NYCHA's discretion. The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and ancillary items necessary for the repair of mechanical systems. This involves pump repair and replacement, including the replacement of existing feedwater pumps and associated equipment such as motors, bases, valves, piping modifications, controls, and electrical work. The contractor will be responsible for removing existing pumps and piping, modifying foundations as needed, insulating new piping, testing, painting, and handling all necessary permits and applications. The contract also covers repair service contracts for existing feedwater pumps, responding to outages, and annual replacement of starters and defective check valves. Bidders must be approved on NYCHA's Plumbing Services Pre-Qualified List (PQL) prior to the bid closing date. Applications for the PQL must be submitted at least 15 days before the bid submission deadline. Failure to be approved on the PQL will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Additionally, Section 3 Resident Economic Opportunity (REO) and Other Economic Opportunity (OEO) Plans must be uploaded via eComply. A non-mandatory virtual pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM via Microsoft Teams. Vendors' questions are due by June 18, 2026, and must be submitted via Online Discussions on iSupplier. A New York State Labor Law 220-i Public Works Registration Certificate is required for all bidders, contractors, and subcontractors.
