Description
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is soliciting bids for a requirement contract for the installation of vinyl composition (V/C) floor tile in apartments. This contract will cover developments within the Queens-Staten Island Neighborhood (QS01) and (QS02), specifically in Queens and Staten Island. NYCHA intends to award up to seven individual requirement contracts, with a contract term of three years from the award date, including the option for up to two one-year renewal periods. NYCHA will award only one contract per development to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the initial step, with the possibility of awarding additional contracts in a second step to contractors who have already received the maximum number of contracts. Bidders must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor under Article 8, Section 220-i. Prevailing wage rates apply, and vendors are responsible for staying informed of any updates. Pre-qualification as an 'Approved Supplier via NYCHA-Tile Pre-Qualification List (PQL)' is required, and bidders must appear on the active approved vendor list. Section 3 REO & OEO Plans must be submitted via eComply. A non-mandatory virtual pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM via Microsoft Teams. The question submission deadline is Monday, June 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
