Description
The New York State Unified Court System (UCS) is seeking proposals for community-based interventions to support justice-involved young adults with gun-related offenses in Queens County. This initiative, funded by a Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program grant, aims to prevent future crime and promote community safety. Services will include referrals and intake, mentor services, therapeutic services, case management, wraparound services, coordination with court and stakeholders, participant engagement, and documentation management. The maximum available funding for Project Services is $360,000, with a project term from August 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, with potential for extension. Applicants must demonstrate capacity in youth-focused gun violence prevention and community violence intervention programming, and may partner with other organizations if needed. Proposals will be evaluated based on organizational capacity, proposed service delivery, and cost.
