Description
The New York State Library, a division of the Office of Cultural Education within the New York State Education Department, is seeking proposals for an Integrated Library System (ILS). The selected solution must be robust and user-friendly, enabling library staff to provide efficient and effective services to patrons. The contract will be for a term of five years, anticipated to begin October 1, 2026, and end September 30, 2031. Subcontracting will be limited to thirty percent of the total contract budget. Bidders are required to comply with New York State Education Department's Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) participation goals, which include a 17.00% MBE Goal and a 13.00% WBE Goal. Additionally, there is a 6.00% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) goal. The RFP and associated documents are posted on the NYSED Procurement website.
