Centralina Regional Council is inviting qualified general contractors to submit an application and supporting documentation for consideration for its General Contractor List for the North Mecklenburg Housing Preservation Initiative. As homes are approved for rehabilitation, the Council and its construction management partner will develop property-specific scopes and invite qualified contractors to review project information and submit bids. Contractors may also be offered an onsite walkthrough before bidding. Placement on the list does not guarantee an invitation, selection, or contract award. Each rehabilitation project will be procured separately under applicable procurement requirements, and selected contractors will contract directly with Centralina Regional Council. The application deadline for the interested contractor list is November 16, 2026; additional contractors may be considered as program needs arise.
