Centralina Regional Council is seeking qualified general contractors to join an interested-contractor list for residential rehabilitation projects under the North Mecklenburg Housing Preservation Initiative. Contractors must submit a General Contractor Application and requested supporting documentation for consideration. Inclusion on the list does not guarantee invitations to bid, project selection, or contract award. Future construction opportunities will be solicited individually for each approved home. Qualified contractors may receive a preliminary scope of work and available property information, and may have an opportunity to attend an onsite walkthrough before submitting a property-specific bid. Selected contractors will contract directly with Centralina Regional Council; a nonprofit program partner will support construction management, coordination, inspections, oversight, documentation, and administration.
