Description
The Town of Greenwich, through its Department of Public Works Highway Division, is soliciting bids from one or more contractors to provide on-call equipment rental, labor, supplies, and general contracting services. Base services include general carpentry, masonry and concrete finishing, and excavation. Contractors must be able to respond within four hours of a service request and provide emergency deliveries within 24 hours when requested. Each individual project will not exceed $35,000. The initial service-contract term is one year, with four optional one-year extensions by mutual consent. Contractors must self-perform the base services and maintain specified rolling equipment, including a skid steer, five-ton dump truck, and Lull telehandler. Subcontracted electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, and related services may also be required. Bidders must submit pricing, specified Connecticut licenses, a worker safety plan, equipment inventory, references demonstrating at least ten years of recent similar experience, subcontractor information, required certifications and forms, and insurance documentation.
