Description
Greenwich Public Schools is soliciting proposals for a fully managed, E-Rate-eligible next-generation firewall solution comparable to or better than its existing hosted environment. The selected provider must furnish the complete operational service, including firewall hardware, software, licenses, subscriptions, maintenance, updates, continuous monitoring, management, and connectivity to the district’s facilities. Equipment-only proposals will be disqualified. The solution must support a minimum sustained throughput of 2 Gbps, accommodate traffic increases up to 10 Gbps without replacement or manual intervention, and provide fault tolerance with no single point of failure. Proposals should address threat prevention, performance monitoring, and 24x7x365 support. Where applicable, implementation must include delivery, physical installation, configuration, policy migration, testing, cutover, documentation, and final acceptance. Vendors must separately identify recurring and non-recurring charges and E-Rate-eligible and ineligible costs, offer SPI billing, and provide pricing for 12-, 24-, and 36-month terms.
