Description
Westchester County, acting through its District Attorney's Office, is seeking two qualified licensed social workers or psychotherapists to provide services through the Victims Justice Center. The scope includes in-person and telephone counseling, crisis intervention, trauma therapy, advocacy with health-care and criminal-justice agencies, court accompaniment, referrals, staff meetings, record-keeping, and statistical and narrative reporting. One position must provide services in Spanish to Spanish-speaking victims. Proposers must have a master's degree from an accredited institution, a social-work or psychotherapy license, at least five years of experience counseling crime victims, crisis-intervention and interpersonal-relations skills, and knowledge of the criminal-justice system. Services require a commitment of 35 hours per week and will be compensated at a fixed blended hourly rate inclusive of expenses. The contract term will run from execution through September 30, 2027, subject to funding and approvals. Proposals must address the required schedules, qualifications, experience, staffing, work approach, timetable, references, and hourly rate, and must use original signatures on all documents.
