Description
The project requires a prime contractor to furnish and install storefront systems, manual and automatic aluminum entrance doors, fixed aluminum-framed windows, sliding pass windows, associated hardware, and window film. The work is part of a high school modernization project with a stated duration of 490 calendar days and an estimated bid value of $417,978.40. A California C-17 contractor's license is required, along with the specified bid, payment, and performance bonds and required insurance coverages. Prequalification of the prime contractor and applicable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors is required before submitting a bid. Prospective bidders and applicable MEP subcontractors must submit the Owner's prequalification questionnaire and financial statement no later than ten business days before bid opening and must be announced as prequalified no later than five business days before bid opening. The prequalification questionnaire may be submitted through Quality Bidders. Specifications and addenda are available for download; printed bid documents are available from Blueprint Services Company if electronic copies cannot be downloaded or printed.
