Description
Thompson Rivers University intends to award Southwest Glass Ltd. an up-to-five-year service agreement for as-needed glass and glazing work at its Kamloops and Williams Lake campuses. The anticipated contract value is $775,000 over the contract term. The notice is a proposed direct award, so other suppliers may respond only by submitting a challenge demonstrating that they are fully qualified and available to provide the required services. The scope includes site visits and quotations; removal of existing glass and glazing; area preparation; supply and installation of glass, glazing, doors, aluminum frames, related hardware, and curtain-wall storefront systems; sketches, drawings, renderings, and recommendations; professional caulking; labor and materials; reporting before work begins; and compliance with university safety and site rules. The contractor must provide responsive customer support, including same-day or next-business-day campus availability for urgent requests, and guarantee materials and workmanship for at least one year after completion of each work order.
