Description
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is seeking letters of interest from eligible, pre-qualified consultants to provide preliminary and final design services for ADA, sidewalk, trail, and related roadway improvements along Trunk Highway 52 between the 75th Street Interchange and the Mayowood Road overpass in Rochester. The scope includes pedestrian ramps, trail segments, frontage-road connections, intersection improvements, geometric refinements, drainage review, minor operational improvements, environmental documentation, coordination with functional groups and local partners, digital Project Specific Electronic Data deliverables, and construction-ready plans for the programmed letting. The prime consultant must be pre-qualified in at least one identified work type, be listed on the project's Official List, and add value to the project. Required work types include environmental documentation, geometric layouts, highway design, traffic signal design, roadway lighting design, temporary traffic control plan design and special provisions, and signing plan design and special provisions. Consultants lacking other required pre-qualifications must arrange for appropriately pre-qualified subcontractors and identify those firms and their work types in the letter of interest.
