Description
Sarpy County is soliciting a contractor to refurbish the central exterior stairway and selected portions of the adjacent upper deck at Werner Park. The work includes selective demolition; removal and replacement of stair treads, risers, metal decking, and concrete; structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication; installation of precast concrete stair treads; concrete deck pouring; polyurethane/polyurea flooring; caulking; corrosion preparation and specialty coatings; painting; permits; labor; materials; and related completion work. Two priced alternates are required: a galvanized and painted stair-stringer reinforcement plate and an expanded upper-deck replacement area. The contractor must complete the project by March 5, 2027. The bid requires attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting, submission of an electronic bid bond equal to 5 percent of the bid price, and pricing for the base bid and both alternates. The successful contractor must provide 100 percent performance and payment bonds after award, maintain specified insurance, provide at least three similar project references completed within the last two years, and identify intended subcontractors in the proposal.
