Description
The City of Omaha is soliciting a contractor for a single-prime construction project at Pheasant Run Park. The work includes removing and replacing existing playground equipment and surfacing; installing poured-in-place rubber playground safety surfacing, playground drainage, concrete bases and walks; replacing benches and a trash receptacle; and performing earthwork, fine grading, seeding, erosion control, and related site restoration. Addendum No. 1 revises the site-preparation, grading, drainage, and site-detail drawings, retains all trees, adds an area drain inlet, and adds a playground equipment proposal to the specifications. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials and comply with the project drawings and specifications. The solicitation requires electronic submission through the IonWave bidding system, a 5% bid bond or acceptable substitute when the total bid is $50,000 or more, and participation documentation for the City's Small and Emerging Small Business program. Required bid-time submissions include the bid security copy, Responsible Contractor Compliance Form, Certificate of Insurance, Employee Classification Act affidavit, Certificate of Compliance, and SEB Participation Disclosure Form.
