Description
The City of Santa Barbara Waterfront Department is soliciting bids for pressure-treated lumber and heavy timber materials for marinas, decking, and piles. The specified quantities include 284 pieces of 4-inch by 12-inch by 20-foot lumber, 284 pieces of 4-inch by 12-inch by 22-foot lumber, 25 pieces of 4-inch by 12-inch by 25-foot lumber, and 28 60-foot green Douglas fir piles with specified tip and butt dimensions, ACZA treatment, and black polyurea coating. The bidder must provide brand or manufacturer information, warranty details, descriptive product data, and any required substitution or deviation information. All materials must be delivered no later than January 14, 2027, with deliveries of the 60-foot piles coordinated for a single date and time because of crane unloading requirements. The bid package requires the City-provided Bid Form, Non-Collusion Declaration, Debarment Certification, and terms of warranty to be completed and uploaded in original page order. The bid is awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, either in aggregate or by item or group as determined by the City.
