Description
The West Virginia Purchasing Division, on behalf of the West Virginia Department of Transportation Division of Highways District 5, is soliciting quotes for an open-end, continuing contract for assorted rough-cut lumber. Items include specified sizes of rough oak boards, side boards, dimensional oak lumber, oak survey stakes and cribbing blocks, poplar stakes, pine bridge timbers, and oak deck boards. Estimated quantities are listed for evaluation, but actual purchases are based on orders placed during the contract term and are not guaranteed. Lumber must be slightly oversized to allow for shrinkage, specifically 1/8 to 1/4 inch longer and 1/16 to 1/8 inch thicker than the required dimensions. Materials must be sound wood, free from major decay and excessive wane, and entirely rough. The vendor must maintain sufficient inventory, provide standard-order delivery within five working days, accept returns of unacceptable items at its expense, and provide quarterly reports and annual summaries. Pricing must include standard delivery charges; emergency delivery charges may be separately invoiced under the stated conditions.
