Description
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory seeks a product-only quotation for one imaging-grade digital X-ray detector and associated power supply, AC and DC cables, extension and PC connection cables, and PCIe frame grabber. The detector is for X-ray diffraction research and must support an operating range of at least 20–100 kV, have a minimum 40 cm × 40 cm active area, 150-micron pixels, an amorphous silicon sensor, and a flat-panel configuration. It must have a non-metal window-to-sensor path, a depth under 10 cm, and a total weight under 15 kg. Beamline shielding will be provided. Equivalent products from alternative manufacturers will not be considered, and no on-site services are permitted. The purchase is not replacing an existing detector, though the equipment may serve as a backup for an existing application. The quotation must include price and lead time, applicable HTS and ECCN information, whether duties or tariffs are included, and a published price-list link if available. Selection is based on lowest-priced technically acceptable offer and best lead time. The amendment must be acknowledged, and suppliers must state whether any previously submitted proposal remains unchanged or submit a revised proposal if needed. The Representations and Certifications Supplement is required unless completed within the preceding year; the Buy American Act Certification applies to awards over $15,000 per unit. The resulting purchase order will be fixed price, with net-30 payment terms.
