Description
Exeter-West Greenwich Regional School District is conducting an RFI to identify commercially available, complete high-frequency radiographic instructional systems for its radiography program. The proposed system must permanently lack the ability to produce ionizing radiation while simulating clinical radiographic equipment operation, including simulated kV, mA, mAs, exposure time, positioning, alignment, collimation, and exposure controls. The requested configuration includes a four-way floating radiographic table, floor-mounted tube stand, non-radiation-producing tube assembly, manual illuminated collimator, vertical chest stand, grid and cassette components, and instructional control console or simulator. Respondents are asked to provide technical specifications, radiation-prevention design information, functionality matrices, installation and electrical requirements, warranty and support details, training capabilities, preliminary pricing, lead times, references, and responses to the stated technical questions. This RFI is for market research and future procurement planning only and does not constitute a purchase solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
