Description
The City of Jefferson is offering competitive Community Development Block Grant funding for eligible public services benefiting people experiencing homelessness. Proposed activities may include day shelters or resource centers, outreach, housing navigation and case management, transportation assistance integral to the service, shelter operations, and other eligible supportive services. Applicants must demonstrate CDBG eligibility, readiness, organizational and financial capacity, and service to Jefferson City residents. The request may not exceed $41,211.30; the City anticipates up to that amount will be available, subject to funding availability and approvals. Applicants must submit a proposal describing the activity, service schedule and locations, whether the service is new or expanded, work plan, performance measures, budget, funding coordination, organizational capacity, and relevant experience. The package also requires financial statements, board and nonprofit-status documentation, up to three references, and specified certifications and acknowledgments. Awards are reimbursement-based, and the anticipated service period is January 1 through December 31, 2027.
