Description
The University of Missouri seeks one S-200-FH nuclear-grade beryllium reflector with an AA6061 aluminum support skirt, manufactured and finish-machined to the provided drawings. The assembly must include small material coupons and meet specified chemical, mechanical, density, grain-size, and nondestructive examination requirements. The supplier must provide certified test reports, comply with QA Level 1 requirements, and submit a supplier quality plan for approval; equivalent beryllium material is not permitted. Bidders must provide relevant experience machining a similarly sized or more difficult beryllium component, references for similar nuclear-grade beryllium work, and a detailed manufacturing and delivery schedule. The completed assembly is expected to be delivered in January 2029. The contract period is five years from the date of award.
