Description
The City seeks a licensed and authorized dealer to provide fire uniforms and related apparel, including trousers, shirts, dress coats, jackets, polos, job shirts, shorts, shoes, belts, ties, caps, shoulder cords, emblems, badges, collar insignias, and related uniform accessories. The solicitation specifies products, brands or models, materials, colors, sizes, and other requirements for numerous line items. The contractor must provide the requested items as specified; alternatives are allowed only when a specified item is unavailable and the City approves the substitute after a wear test. The contractor must provide manufacturer-backed product specifications and warranty information, and must purchase items directly from the manufacturer or an authorized manufacturer's distributor. The City expects to place orders throughout the year, including larger orders in spring and fall and smaller orders as needed. Alteration services are also requested, including trouser hemming, emblem attachment, shirt and coat tapering, waist alterations, zipper repair, and coat sleeve shortening. On-site measuring, fitting, and size runs may be requested. The initial contract period is one year, with up to four additional one-year renewals, subject to a maximum total term of five years and three months. The offeror must provide pricing for the listed items and renewal periods.
