Description
The City seeks a licensed and authorized dealer to provide a broad range of fire department uniforms and related items, including shirts, trousers, dress coats, jackets, shorts, shoes, belts, ties, caps, badges, collar insignia, shoulder emblems, cords, and sleeve braid. Items must meet the stated specifications; substitutions are generally not accepted unless the specified item is unavailable and an alternative is approved in advance. Manufacturers must have at least five years of documented experience producing public safety apparel. The contractor must provide manufacturer-backed warranty information, delivery estimates, and evidence of authorized-dealer status. The scope also includes alterations such as hemming, attaching emblems and braid, adjusting garment sizes, and zipper repair. The City anticipates placing orders throughout the year. The contract has an initial one-year period and may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods, subject to a maximum term of five years and three months. The contractor may use only disclosed subcontractors, with City approval required for changes.
