Description
The City seeks one new, current-production emergency standby generator rated at least 130 kW, fueled by natural gas, with 240/120-volt, single-phase, 60-Hz output. The generator must meet or exceed the existing unit's capacity, performance, and reliability and be listed for emergency standby service. The contractor must deliver and install the generator and provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, startup, testing, and commissioning needed for a complete, operational installation. Operator training and operation, maintenance, and warranty documentation are required before final acceptance; the warranty must be at least two years. The City will manage removal and disposal of the existing equipment and any needed concrete modifications. The bid requests separate firm, fixed prices for the generator and its installation. The solicitation also requests bidder and personnel information, relevant experience, proposed subcontractor information when applicable, a method-of-performance plan, warranty information, and specified exhibits and certifications.
